The stuff between the two elements is feasting on the cement in there.
You should at the very least try the UV solution to kill the fungus.
Better would be to have the elements separated and reglued.
Same thing for the next element in, you need to at least kill the fungus
and would be better to have it cleaned.
It really needs to go to the lens doc. As a rare and valuable lens where
the fungus appears not to have gotten to the point of causing image
problems, it really should be fixed. There are folks out there with this
lens with unusable rear elements who have been waiting and searching for
years for replacements.
