It's interesting. This topic has come up before, Chuck posted a more
detailed version of this scam, I responded (I think) that the
University of Iowa seems to be dealing with an entirely different Dell
company. They've had the contract for the last 5 or 6 years and
continue to deliver excellent product. I did have a hard disk crash
in my 2 year old laptop last summer, but had the replacement FOC
within 24 hours and fortunately had backed the old drive up the day
before.
