Yep, it's about the photos, in the end. Megapixels don't make pictures,
photographers and camera systems do. FAR too much hype is devoted to MP
counts.
This isn't much different than Horsepower in cars, or Watts of Power in
music amplification systems, or MgHz in computers. Every guy-oriented
techno-hobby seems like it HAS to have some sort of
mine-is-bigger-than-yours measurement. But you can make do with much
less....witness the fact that I've limped along for 6 years on a 450MgHz
computer, but it has 1Gig RAM, plus fast, SCSI disks...it's only now
running out of steam. Raw power without the proper way to use it is
useless....or at least a waste.
