It's mainly a chemist's shop (as we used to call them) or pharmacy
Mike, but "Boots the Chemist" has branched out over the last couple
of decades and it looks a bit as you say. However, you saw a city
branch in Earl's Court whereas the town branches are bigger with
larger processing facilities as well as larger departments. I think
that it has lost its way because of its variety of products sold.
But whatever the core business of Boots, that particular branch was
not endowed with the best trained staff. I think that most of them
will be better, but I think that I will now ask of the branch in
Cambridge.
