Yup, they are. The kodak film will print fairly easily at a mini-lab.
If you are shooting for minilab printing, use the Kodak film, as it has the
orange base, which makes getting a relatively neutral result possible. (I
don't know about the Fuji, which is unavailable here). The Ilford is
prefered for printing on B&W paper, as it has no orange base. That means it
is nearly impossible for anyone but a pro lab to get untainted results, but
it is quite easy to print on B&W paper. The orange base on the Kodak is so
dense that regular printing calls for verrrrrry long exposure times.
You can control contrast some with the Ilford. Over expose it just a bit
and it goes flat fast!
