I have been very happy with my Canon A95. At roughly the size of a pack of
cigarettes, its small enough to carry in a pocket, but big enough that you have
something to hold on to when you shoot. I
particularly enjoy the "vari-angle" LCD which makes it possible to accurately
compose over he head or worm's-eye-view shots. At 5 megapixels and with decent,
albeit slow glass, it turns out good
quality output, and I've even used some A95 shots in some of my commercial
submissions (www.beancotton.com/calendar12.jpg). The modes also ad a few things
to play with, includinga manual mode
that will come in handy if you forget your real camera.
