  Just a word of warning about hoods with magnifying elements in them -- 
apparently some people have had problems where they've left their camera 
for a while with the back facing upwards, and the magnifying lens has 
focussed the sun onto the LCD and melted it. Easy enough to avoid once 
you know about it, but worth being wary of.
