I vaguely recall hearing that it was only the 15mm that Zeiss was
making and the rest were being made by Cosina but I could be wrong.
The body is definitely from Cosina but isn't a rebadge. I think you
are thinking of the Rollei body for that one which was just a rebadge.
As for being for the dentists, the suggested prices that I've seen put
the body between CV and Leica prices so it's not too terrible.
Personally, I've been toying with the idea of getting into RF and this
is a tempting option; longer baselength than the Bessas, (presumably)
better quality body (still built by CV but has to meet Zeiss' quality
control standards), but without having to pay the premium price of a
leica body. There's also some discussion of a digital Zeiss Ikon body
being in the works. I seem to recall hearing that the Zeiss lenses
being offered are designed with digital in mind.
