Depends on which one you have. If it is about an inch long and fairly
light and/or has a "4" in the model number, it is four element and not
particularly good. Fine for portaits of the flattering to skin variety
and not bad at small apertures.
If it is physically longer and/or has the number '7' in the model
number, it is 7 elements and pretty good. What appears to be one model
from one factory was sold under a slew of names.
Based on the overall reports from listees, the Oly is probably a bit
better than these.
As Bill says, the Vivitar 2x Macro Focusing Teleconverter is another
really good one, and also turns a 50mm standard lens into a 100 mm macro
lens focusing down to 1:1.
