Hey, I just said some people's work is photo, didn't say anything
about being able to make a decent living at it. The picture they
portray is pretty bleak. To be slightly more positive, this probably
only counts full-time photographers and not those who do it as side
income or part of a business that offers other services as well. I
suspect that's a fairly large number of people, which could be another
reason why the full-time outlook is so bad.

Yeah I like that. I don't think you could pay me enough to do
weddings, just not worth the headaches. I seem to recall hearing
somewhere that most people doing weddings only end up doing it for
about 5 years tops before they burn out.
I was asked about possibly shooting 1 wedding by a friend of mine. I
turned him down, I just didn't want to have to deal with the pressure
of having 1 shot at getting the pictures for this really important
event in their lives. Plus I didn't want to have to deal with the
bride after the fact if I messed it up!
