Wow that's really ambiguous. I read it as them saying you can only use
TTL flash with the camera set in manual (M) mode, which makes a bit of
sense. But you're right, it also sounds like they might be saying that
the flash has to be set to manual mode. I'd be tempted to ask them to
clarify that.
I'm surprised no one on the list has had any experience with it. Or at
least it seems that way since no one else has replied.
