Being the retro kinda guy I am, I just bought a bounce grip 2 from Adorama
on the bay. It has the properly drilled holes that let me mount all the
gizmos that I've gathered over the years to fit perfectly together.The
bounce grip 1 is drilled slighty different. I mounted the OM-2n , the M-grip
cord, the Winder 2, the TTL Auto Connector Type 4 , the T-32 flash, the
TTL Auto Cord T 0.6m , etc.. Heavier than my first born son, he weighed 1 lb
18 oz.. Well machined metal parts speak to me like a well made Colt 38m
Special. Well performed machining is a joy to behold. No glock yet, Walt.
Digital is definitely the future. But I've finally put together the kit I've
always dreamed of. I've yet to finish the mind game of hooking together the
OM-2S and OM-4T and the numerous lenses. ( That's for the weekend :) I've
just purchased 20 rolls of slide film ( slightly out of date ) and I'm
looking forward to playing. There is a certain pleasure in playing with
heavy metal :) All the digital talk is fun, I wish I could afford it. My
second hand slide scanner will get me by for a while. But there is something
intriguing about playing with the old stuff. I just pray they keep producing
film until I can sell it all :) I keep thinking I could sell anything, but
its just such a joy to fondle! Damn I need to get re-divorced! I've been
diving the archives lately and its been enlightening. The Oly-Ody will be a
joy when it reaches me. Life is good! I pass my condolences on to those who
have lost loved ones. Thanks for the joy of having known them! Photographs
have documented sad and happy times for me. I look forward to capturing my
memories for those who follow.
