Exactly! I hated it when they switched to these harsh, impersonal
solid-state CF cards. Give me a tube (excuse me, valve) card any day.
The really cool thing is once I started using the valve cards again, I
bought a $1200 oxygen-free, crystalline-aligned Litz firewire cable with
platinum-plated plugs, and all my images now have an "air" or
"sweetness" about them that is just dazzling.... If you don't have one
of these cables, you've just wasted a lot of money on a camera.
