Suppose the painting was sprayed with something that reflected UV light. The
painting surface is rough and scatters light. The reflected UV would be
scattered in all directions.
- Changing the angle of the camera would still give the same result
- The polarizer could be blocking the UV
- The C*non may not respond to UV and thus it works as expected
- Putting something in front of the painting (gray card) would give correct
exposure to gray card but not painting.
