Michael Spencer (Derbyshire) has now fixed it for me and I have (for the
first time) a working 35RD.

I think I commented on this one before. If they completely disassembled
the shutter to clean the oil out, they may have bent something. There
is a pin that must slide smoothly in a slot on the shutter plate. If it
does not move properly, diaphragm may jam.
