In the unlikely event that the paint loss (otherwise known as "character
marks") is confined to the inner part of the film window, as opposed to the
frame, that inner part can be slid out through the bottom and replaced with
a good one removed from another back.
Removing the screen of an OM-F can be difficult (assuming the problem is
with the screen and not the prism). The screen held in place by two
springs, one on either side, and there is a long tab sticking out of the
middle of the screen in the front. You would have to peel back the black
bumper material at the front edge of the screen (that the mirror hits
against), then lift the springs away (down) from the screen with a spring
hook, resting the ends out to the side of the screen before removing it.
Once removed, you can try washing the screen with warm soapy water, rinsing
thoroughly, and reinstalling.
