I have places just west of Yellowstone Park, on the edge of the desert about
100 miles west of Yellowstone, and in northern Idaho about 60 miles south of
Coeur d'Alene. The house in northern Idaho is rented so I have no place to
live there now. I have farms and timber there so need to go to check things
once in a while. I'm negotiating on the purchase of some more timber
property there but nothing has happened yet. Here are some snowy pictures of
the place by Yellowstone:

The cabin usually gets buried to the point that we can't see out the
windows. We do get snow.

James you seems to be living at the right place, skiing every month
of the year!
Where on earth are you? ;)

Here in Västerås, Sweden, we have only have had one night yet this
autumn with bellow zero Celsius temperature. And day temperature
still reach 20 deg C. No winter in sight :(
