Those are some very impressive astrophotos. Your guiding is outstanding.
What kind of a drive were you using?
Using a camera lens is nice... takes the hassle out of getting accurate
focusing. I gave up trying to focus using a 1-8 or 1-12 screen while doing
deep sky work through my Schmidt-Cassegrain and purchased a Spectra
SureSharp focusing device. Focusing took little effort once I got used to
recognizing the in-focus pattern produced by the SureSharp.
