Hanging all of the blame on the federal government is

I'll agree with you this far. There's plenty of blame to go around. (And
let's not forget Bush's ability to say and do things that look appaling on
the surface)
What relaay bothers me about this and other issues, not just on this list,
is the fact that many in America seem to think that you must be at either
extreme. Rush Limbaugh and Al Franken are equally bad. The attempt to group
all of us at either end is a serious negative to our country and our lives.
Extremism and fundamentalism is never good, as the events in the Middle East
prove.
I'm concerned that the feds on one side and the Democratic governors and
mayors spend as much time trying to make the other look bad as they do in
helping the victims. Let's not fall victim to this.
Is Bush often wrong? I think so. But I also think that were Kerry in his
place, he would have done other things wrong as well. The art of compromise
is a dying art.
