Reminds me of a Mini I once had which was fitted with heated washers. That particular car did a *lot* of miles (>50000 in 2 years) and they did an EXCELLENT job of cleaning off the grime, but really came into their own as a forewarning of engine overheating. The sight of two plumes of steam erupting from the washer jets caused me to stop and think hard!
