Does anyone know if the Wein cell is just a simple zinc-air cell like 
the hearing aid batteries or does it have some form of voltage reduction 
built in?  Nominal voltage for a zinc-air cell is 1.4 volts.  Wein 
claims that their cell is 1.35 volts like a proper mercury cell.  Not a 
big difference but still enough for a small metering error.

True or hype?
