Possibly, but the limiting factor in my tests wasn't the lenses,
but the sensor. I believe the DZ 14-54 is capable of resolving
much more detail than the sensor is allowing for. Anywhere I
showed 0 LP, the resolution was limited by the sensor.
However, that said, in seeing how the lenses approached the
limit could be telling. The 35/2.8, 50/3.5 and 100/2.8 had a
much wider range of 0 LP apertures. I can only assume that there
was at least one setting that would exceed the setting.
So, I'm not sure just how sharp the DZ 14-54 can be. But armed
with the new data I went shooting last night and achieved some
really nice landscapes.
