I just came from the local pro sho. I had been in there about a month
ago and asked to see an E-1. They said they didn't have any left and
weren't anticipating getting any more in. I went in today and asked
again. They apparently told me true the first time. Still no E-1's and
none coming.
I decided to check whehter they had simply decided to handle only the
higher volume stuff and asked to see a Minolta 7D. Didn't have one of
those either... except they will have some more in a few days. They're
on order. Check back Tuesday or Wednesday.
Looks to me like the E-1 pipeline is truly being emptied. I wonder
what's coming.
