Before Christmas, they offered a $30 rebate upon registering the tuner
module. That required all the appropriate bar codes, a receipt, and a
complicated tiny form to be filled out. Not having just fallen off the
turnip truck, I was exceptionally careful to get it exact. I mean EXACT. In
late February, we got a form stating the rebate was not given, as the
paperwork was eiother not correctly filled out, or parts were missing. Since
I was well aware that this was not the case, I called the 800 number, and
talked with the operator. I suggested she provide me with the exact
inadequacy. After a few minutes on hold, whe returned to say that the rebate
was on its way. Guess what I haven't received. I'm of the opinion that these
responses are sent out to cut expenses. I suppose if you made several calls,
you would get the money. If anyone from XM is listening, you can kiss my
A***! If my wife wasn't hooked, we'd unhook the piece of crap.
I have had similar experiences before, except in the case of Best Buy. They
have been prompt.
