I think this image is better without using a polarizer. Seeing down into the
water would introduce too much distracting information. It's nice and smooth

Here's another creature we passed by on our canoe excursion last evening.
C5050 in super macro mode, 1/60, hand held over side of canoe, framing using
screen, scolding co-pilot to stop moving the boat, etc.

Yes, I have a polarizer but forgot to take it along.
(Also tried to capture the annoyed beaver slapping his tail at us, but the
shutter lag pretty much makes that impossible. )
