It's been estimated at $12k and $8k. I imagine it will be somewhere
between the two. Not cheap, by any stretch of the imagination, but
not like buying a Phase One back for $30k and then having to buy a
camera to go with it. Of course, I'm not going to spend $8k, $12k or
$30k on a camera unless I inherit Exxon unexpectedly, but from a
strictly theoretical standpoint the Mamiya seems like a pretty
interesting item. It's big, but not huge. It's kind of like a Pentax
67 that's been assimilated by the Borg. If I was doing studio work
for a living I'd be looking to unload my full-frame EOS about right now.
