The Voigtlander/Cosina SLR lenses are larger than their Leica Thread Mount
cousins. The automatic diaphragm plus the larger back focus likely make up
most of the cause.

Subject: [OM] voigtlander 75mm/2.5
Advice please. I have just taken delivery of a new Olympus fit 75/2.5 -
ordered in black. The lens is black finish, but with a chrome knurled
focusing ring. It stops down to f22, has no half stops, a bayonet hood
fitting (plus an internal thread) and has slightly different dimensions
from those given on sites advertising these lenses - usually for Leica
screw. Are the Olympus fit lenses made to a different specification does
anyone know?
Thanks, Tony
