Brian, this is relatively good news. It probably means two
things. #1. A new body is coming out about the same time. #2.
Sales are lagging there as a result of not having the adaptor
and Olympus Japan has taken notice.
Unfortunately, I don't think any of the Olympus organizations
are that bright for it to be #2.
I said it before, and I'll say it again: The adaptor was an
absolute requirement for me to have bought the E-1 system. No
adaptor, no Olympus. Period, end of story. C/N/M would have
gotten my hard-earned bucks, definitely not Olympus. If I
needed ALL NEW lenses, it would have been a total deal breaker.
Have the old lenses worked out? Marvelously. Anybody who says
otherwise is smoking something whacky.
