I think you both hit the nail on the head - heresabouts screen resolution is
1280x800, thus AG's site is fine, because it is tall and wide, whereas
Chuck's is (relatively) slightly tall and narrow. Granted, it isn't that
tall - but in fact that is just the point, if the pages are 820, 840, 873
pixels, perhaps the margin over 800 is not worth having.

No, I wouldn't either. I was just pointing out that Chuck's site is really
fairly small.
As AG pointed out, his site is pretty large - just the right width for a
browser with sidebar on 1280x1024.
