Marc is right on. I was confused by the air intake at the wing root which is a characteristic of the F-80/T-33. The RF-84F is a modified F-84 which had a nose air intake. However, to suit the reconnaissance mission of the RF-84F the nose is filled with camera gear and so the engine intakes were relocated to the wing root.
