Hi Michael,
word is that australia overstocked and offloaded them to New Zealand, it
is a tremendous deal, so much so that I had one shipped to switzerland,
though the deal I was offered included a rather expensive 1gb card.
however I still made quite a saving over buying from anywhere else. That
was until I dropped the camera and lens and now the lens is no good so I
will have to replace it sometime - and I will probably get the 14-54 not
the 14-45 which was ok though for the time mine worked.
prices are still the same elsewhere so maybe there is a new body on its
way or maybe not.
cheers Ianw
