Finally getting around to sorting through all the paperwork that came with my
E-1 outfit last week, I discovered a previously unnoticed mail-in rebate form,
which I have now filled out and am mailing today. I'll be getting back $100 on
the E-1/14-54/FL-20 kit, and $125 on the 7-14 lens.
Now, since there's presently a $100 rebate on the $999.95 50-200/2.8~3.5 ED
Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens, adding that rebate to the $225 I'm already getting
back, does that not mean that a 50-200 will actually, in E-dollars, cost me
only $675? Is that a good way to explain it to someone who might be so
inquisitive as to ask "What did that cost?" Works for me. :-)
Figures don't lie, but liars do figure.
