PWP does a pretty fine job of resizing, but I do find that it
softens up the image quite a bit. Countering this softening
shows resizing artifacts, but not near as bad any other
interpolator I've used. However, if I throw just a little bit
of HSM noise into the resized image before and after the
sharpening it masks the artifacts very nicely. Two seperate
passes of very low-level HSM is our friend. Besides, it gives
an analog feel to the image.
