Thanks for catching that Paul.
Looks like the older 20mm/f3.5 and 38mm/f3.5 also had serial nos. in the
2xxxxx range. Although each of those also have a reported sample in the
3xxxxx range.
The 2xxxxx 180mm/f2.8 is probably the newer version as it works with the
1.4x TC.
The 5xxxxx 35-105mm/f3.5-f4.5 is probably the newer version?
A seller claimed that the first 350mm/f2.8 (black) started at 101xxx
It seems there were some pretty arbitrary decisions made about serial nos.
