  www.7dayshop.co.uk has E1 bodies for UKP599 (USD 1087) -- that's not 
super-cheap, but it does include VAT which might clobber you when going 
for an import.  They don't sell outside the UK at all, though, and they 
don't have any sort of kit deal with a lens.
