I've lightened up the graveyard and y shape path shots (with two
lighter versions), as they were too dark. They're coming out much more
contrasty than the originals. I've never noticed saving for web
altering things so much before. I think it must be something to do with
not being in sRGB mode before saving to web. I've noticed this
affecting colours, which makes sense, but contrast seems a bit of an
odd one. Even stranger is that viewing exactly the same file gives more
shadow detail in Photoshop than in a web browser, at least with Safari
on my Mac with a CRT. Who knows what you're all seeing on your
machines.
