Hmmm ... It would seem possible to get even light by having the model face
towards a light colored wall with the sun behind them. The photo would have
to be careful they didn't squint but with enough walls to choose from ...
There was a post a few months back with a link to a series of pro photo
examples. One was of an actor fishing in the middle of the day. The photog
took enough reflectors and flash gear to get the shot anyway. The sun was
slightly behind the actor and the photo had enough gear to overwhelm the
sun.
