How about a DVD burner and some DVDs? It's a lot cheaper than buying a bunch
of external drives, not to mention the desk space you save. And you can put
a _lot_ of E-1 files on a DVD.
I was thinking the hard drive might be more permanent, easier to catalogue,
take up less space and less prone to damage, however I'm open to
conversation. I typical day of shooting might generate 4 Gig of files, much
of which
will get dumped, however I suspect 160 Gig or 250 Gig of DVDs would take up
more
space than the hard drive, would load slower and be harder to manage. Help!
