In play mode on the e300 you get to choose what you see along with the
image; one of the options is the histogram. So to see the histogram of
the shot you just took would require one button press if you have
histogram display selected. I personally prefer the option of blown
highlights flashing. It's the one thing that there's no hope of fixing
after the fact.
