Do we disclose this immediately, or does it require initiation rites as
with the Wyoming Secret Factory Saga, 520 Nano-Meter Meaning, and the Tales
of Toky and Vert?
Wish I could help you with the eye-coupler. I have the varimagnifinder,
but in my use of it I've never found a need for the eye-coupler. From the
system documentation, the eye-coupler is supposed to have two uses, one
with the varimagnifinder and the other with the 250-frame film back and
eyecup 1:
(a) backing off the varimagnifinder enough from the viewfinder to give a
magnified full frame view (without anyt further magnification though). The
varimagnifinder alone only shows the central portion of the frame when 2.5X
magnification is switched in.
(b) allowing the eyecup 1 to be used with the 250-frame film back. Unlike
the Eyecup 2, the cup on the Eyecup 1 extends below the top edge of the
camera back. This requires the Eyecup 1 must be removed prior to opening
the camera back (with or without eye-coupler) . . . and that its cup
interferes with the thicker 250-frame film back without something (the
eye-coupler) to set it back from the viewfinder.
