Interesting post. Your first statement: "As I have said previously, if
I were a pro or still a photo journalist, I'd have gone digital years
ago." brings to mind a possibly apocryphal story concerning the trials
and tribulations of Bill Clinton. The one photo of him hugging "what's
her name" (God, the memory's really going) which eventually appeared in
the press was taken on film by one photographer. All the others used
digital and had deleted the shot, as seemingly unimportant. When things
started to heat up, the only person with the shot was - guess who - the
photographer who had used film. Is there a moral here?
