Subject: [OM] OT Chapel photography & Windsor
Hi all
Hands up all those who watched the Charles & Camilla church service in the
chapel at Windsor Castle !!
It was transmitted live here courtesy the BBC in the wee small hours for us
and ended at about 2.30 am.
With all the panning shots of the marvellous vaulted ceiling and columns, I
was reminded of Graham's church shots that have inspired us to do more
and better photography.
One aspect of the exterior shots that impressed me was just how bright,
shining and clean the stone work is; even the chimney pots looked as they
have never seen soot. A lot different from the southern UK I remembered from
the 1960s. Maybe Windsor is sufficiently removed from the London environs
to make a difference; I don't know.
Brian
