I saw a Tokina 200mm F3.5 OM on evilbay, and I bid and won. It was from
Canada...
That was 2 months ago, my lens never came, it's lost in the mail, and
what's strange, he sent it with insurance, but no tracking number..
I'm fairly saddened by this, I really wanted a 200mm (and at $32.55, my
winning bid price, it could be a coke bottle for all I care, even if it
was soft, I'd use it for portraits and so sharpness wasn't a factor,
although I suspect that it would have been a pretty sharp lens)
So now, we are waiting for the official "45 business days have gone by"
to apply for a $$$ against the insurance;
So my question is, anybody have this lens? How well does it perform, if
someone tells me it's tack sharp, I'm going to kill myself...
He scanned and emailed me the receipt, so he sent it, but wrote down the
wrong address...
