I don't use Netscape any longer, but I should imagine that Firefox has
a lower RAM and processor overhead, as well as using tabs. Does
Netscape use tabs?
The last time I installed Netscape (in OS9) it put all manner of bits
here, there and everywhere on my hard drive.
