Week before last, I shot a couple of rolls of Plus-X with the new-to-me RB67
Pro-S and the gaggle of lenses I quickly accumulated in a *Bay feeding frenzy,
all of the lenses being the Mamiya-Sekor C type: 50/4.5, 90/3.8, 127/3.8,
140/4.5 Macro, and 180/4.5. Of the lot, the most impressive were the 50/4.5
and the 127/3.8. Although the others were sharp as a tack, with excellent
contrast and resolution, the 50 and 127 were on the verge of fantastic. This
could be considered heresy and may get me voted off the island with Tom, but
I'll put these lenses up against any of the Zuikos. Add to that the fact the
6x7 format is more than 4X the size of 35mm -- well, what more can I say?
