The current major exhibit at Eastman House is photos of American
musicians (http://www.eastmanhouse.org/exhibits/container_33/index.asp),
some of which are Epson digital prints. It will be a perfect
opportunity to compare what I hope to be a very high standard of digital
b&w with silver gelatin. Of course, I have no assurance that
comparisons will be "valid"; i.e., comparable size, exposures, etc. But
beyond that, I plan to join as a supporting member fairly soon and that
may give me access to personnel with whom I can discuss this.
