I have a couple of eyecup 1 (the round type), both with -5 correction
lenses. Use them on my OM-3&4 - together with the dioptre correction
available on the camera it means I don't need glasses for focusing. I've
found this a huge improvement when using the cameras, despite habitually
wearing glasses for the past 20 years. Would recommend them unreservedly.
Don't use them with the OM-1&2 as the correction lenses aren't enough on
their own. However, attempting to use the eyecup when wearing glasses is a
real pain (version 2 might be OK for that - don't know, never used one).
Generally, when wearing glasses, using any device which keeps the eye
further away from the viewfinder than necessary seems to be a bad idea to
me.
Hope this helps.
Regards - Martyn

Subject: [OM] Eyecup(s) for 4T?
I notice two different eyecups mentioned for the OM cameras.
'1' is round, '2' rectangular. Which is a better choice for the
OM-4T? I want to protect my eyeglasses and may want to get a -5
diopter.
TIA!/ScottGee1
