One or two have expressed the view that it would be exhilarating to drive
the road in yesterdays picture.

They are not the first to think that way about English country lanes and
they wont be the last. Nor would they be the last to round a bend and meet
something like this which I shot just a few hundred yards further up the
road on the same day.
