According to a program I saw recently on the Discovery Channel, Weather
Channel, PBS, or some such place, lightning has been known to strike up to 15
miles from the storm of origin, hence the expression "a bolt out of the blue."
Seems to be particularly attracted to golfers, which is fine with me since I
ain't one.
