GB, Nice shot. the Fred Miranda stuff is interesting, and I plan to try it
right after I buy some of the other $125,000 photo items I want.
Seriously, I can see how this specifc thing may be viable. Pardon me for being
an old fool, but many of the things plug-ins promise seem far fetched. My
particular problem is with things that provide what's not there. A good example
is a digital polarizer. Pardon me, but if there;s a reflection on glass that
prevents the camera from seeing what's there in the first place, just how,
exactly, can software replace the glare? Another is Genuine fractels. Used as
intended, for modest rez-ing up, it seems to work well, but far too many expect
to be able to shoot a page from the phone book from across the room with a 50,
and then use GF to look up a number.
I would, however, expect good results from many of these things, when using raw
files.
